With its (up to) 9X EV bracketing, the D300 makes it easy to do an HDR image. This is my first attempt at a multiple exposure tone map, all my other HDR’s up to date have been from a single RAW or jpeg. Yeah, I know, nothing new here with the Dream Lights and Partners, but I don’t think I’ve seen it done in HDR yet. And part of the reason I wanted to do this in HDR is that it’s nearly impossible to get this exposure this way with a single file. In fact, it probably is impossible, save some SERIOUS post processing work. So there you have it, Cinderella Castle Dream Lights – 2008, in high dynamic range.

I couldn’t force myself to not take this picture the way the sunlight was hitting the castle as the sunset. It was a beautiful sight and I stuck around just to get some castle shots at dusk before heading over to DHS for the evening…
